Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Pixel Engine collects, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

Who we are

Pixel Engine (pixelengine.ai) is operated by Pixel Engine. For questions about this policy, contact hello@pixelengine.ai.

What we collect

Account information: your email address and sign-in details. If you sign in with Google, the basic profile information Google shares with us.
Content: the prompts you write, the images you upload, the images and animations you generate, and records of each generation.
Payment information: purchases and subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We keep records of your subscription and credits; we do not store your card details.
Usage information: how you use the app, such as pages viewed, features used and actions taken. To improve the product, we may also record sessions in the app. Passwords are never recorded.
Device and technical information: information about your browser and device, log data, and identifiers we use to keep the service secure and prevent abuse, such as one person creating many accounts.

How we use it

To provide and operate the service, including your account, your library and your credit balance.
To communicate with you about your account and to provide support.
To understand how the product is used and improve it.
To train and improve our models, using your prompts, uploads and generations and how you respond to them. You can opt out at any time with "Opt out of AI training" in Account → Settings, or for a single API request. Opting out covers content we have not yet used for training.
To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.

We do not sell your data, and we do not give your content to other companies to train their models.

Who we share it with

We share information with service providers that help us run Pixel Engine, such as hosting, computing, AI model, payment, analytics and email providers. They process it on our behalf and only as needed to provide their services. These providers may process data in the United States. For the current list of providers, contact hello@pixelengine.ai. We do not otherwise share your data, except where the law requires it.

Connected apps and the API

If you connect an AI agent or another app to your account, or use the API, that app can act on your account as you allow, including generating content and spending credits. You can disconnect apps and revoke API keys at any time. What a connected app does with content it receives is governed by its own privacy policy.

How long we keep it

We keep information while your account is active and as long as needed to run the service, meet legal and accounting obligations, and prevent abuse.
Items you delete from your library may be kept on our systems.
When you delete your account, we delete your account information. If you opted out of AI training, we also delete your content. If you did not, we may keep it, in a form that does not identify you, to improve our models.
Some records, such as payment records, are kept as the law requires, and copies may remain in backups for a limited time.
Content already used to train a model cannot be removed from that model.

Your choices and rights

Delete your account at any time from Account → Settings.
Opt out of AI training, disconnect connected apps, and revoke API keys from your account.
Ask for a copy of your data, or for it to be corrected or deleted, by contacting hello@pixelengine.ai. Depending on where you live, you may have other rights over your data, which you can exercise the same way.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, understand how the app is used, and prevent abuse. We do not use advertising cookies.

Children

Pixel Engine is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes

We may update this policy. If we make significant changes, we will update the date above and let you know.
